Fáilte ó chroí fellow rebels

We are back with improvements Enjoy your stay. Visitors on the music etc page can find new rebel songs for download.

This site, we hope, will provide info and links to other resources that will aid visitors gain a better understanding of Scottish and Irish politics. This site is republican and socialist and makes no apology for it. The time is ripening for revolutionary change in the Scottish and Irish political climate. Scots are beginning more and more to realise that they have nothing to fear from independence. In Ireland, great strides have been made to break down the sectarian divide that has existed as a direct result of British imperialism and interference. When Scotland breaks away from the UK then the six counties will surely follow. The next decade will prove to be a monumental era in the history of both nations. Those in power would do well to heed the words of John F Kennedy, “those who make peaceful revolution impossible make violent revolution inevitable.”. Wise words indeed.

We are on the threshold of another US led world-wide recession. Possibly the worst since the early ‘30s and we all know what happened then. Capitalism is rocking. Banks are being nationalised because they are haemorrhaging money. This is Thatcher and Reagan’s legacy

In periods of political and financial instability, opportunities can arise for revolutionary social change. It is important that all socialists of any hue are ready to unite and take advantage, if and when these opportunities arise.

Now I’m off the soapbox, if you click on the News button, you’ll find up to the minute BBC news feeds from Scotland, the six counties and UK politics in a neat wee box. Also there are latest headlines from around the world including the Americas, Europe and the middle East.

When you click on the Links button you’ll find links to a plethora of websites, blogs and forums that may be of interest to the average visitor to this site.

When you click on the Music etc. button you will find a huge collection of Irish rebel music for you to download/listen to, as well as films and documentaries to download/view.

The Fitba button presents you with a page all about Celtic FC — Results, fixtures, why we hate John Reid, links to other Celtic related blogs and sites and links to live streams. Also has a live stream of setanta sports news.

Click on the Struggle page and you will be presented with a Bio of Bobby Sands and “The Diary of Bobby Sands”, an easily navigable copy of his diary of the first 17 days of his death fast. Also you will find bios of the other nine hungerstrikers of ‘81 and an article entitled “The obscenity of H-Blocks”.

The This Week button will take you to a page that lists events in history that have happened in this week. It’s supposed to be updated every Wednesday and is archived. The archives still need some tidying up.

Clicking the Events button will show you upcoming republican/socialist events. Or at least it should. I intend to update this page more frequently.

The HMMmmm button will take you to socialist pamphlets or notes. Again, I’ll need to do some more work on this page.

The My Blog button will take you to guess where.

Clicking My Pics will take you to my flickr photostream. I’ve no longer got a camera so it will sadly not be updated until I can raise cash to get another one.

The Martyrs button will take you to the Roll of Honour for both the IRA and INLA

The Guestbook button speaks for itself.

When you click the Fun button, you will be taken to a variety of useless games I made using pictogames. Politics doesn’t have to be so serious.

This place should work equally on all PC based browsers. If it doesn’t just let me know via the feed back button and I’ll fix it.
